Designer Thevy Guex’s creations are rooted in lightness and nature, and are also inspired by her love of Paris and of vintage objects.
Her jewelry — contemporary, feminine and elegant — recycles vintage materials. She also designs more upscale collections, with gold-plated metal and fine gemstones.
Over the years she has refined her focus to design and handcraft limited series or unique models, all easy to wear and environmentally friendly.
Guex (rhymes with XXX) started her career designing textiles for French luxury fashion brands such as Chloé, applying her mastery of color, poetic mindset and brushstroke skills to create distinct motifs.
Her aesthetic journey and childhood travels gave rise to two passions: painting watercolors and collecting vintage, pop and unusual objects.
On a quest to enhance her skills, she entered Ecole Supérieure des Arts appliqués Boulle to study jewelry, gemmology and stone setting.
Hunting for antiques, transforming them and giving these little treasures a new life became a game she explored with her first collection of custom jewelry « Péché Mignon », sold at Paris’s upscale Le Bon Marché department store.
Her creations, designed and crafted in her Parisian workshop in the 11th arrondissement, are available on the e-shop Luce and Armelle.
